Audio Lounge wins the prestigious The True Award for Best Sound Design……jiiiihaaaaaaaaaa
It takes years of practice and great skill and feel to do great sound design. It also takes a good film. With the film “Stjerner er det, der lyser i mørke” for Det Kongelige Teater by director Martin Werner for Mensch and Det Kongelige Teater all the elements needed for doing great, inspiring sound design is present. Hence we are very proud to win this years True Award for Best Sound Design. Not only is the film outstanding, the music in the film played by Det Kongelige Kapel contributes in making this film memorable. Thank you all for choosing Audio Lounge and congratulations to Bacon Cph, Mensch and Det kongelige Teater.

We were happy that Granity Music chose Audio Lounge for recording the vocals on the new single from Leonora “Lyset Slukker Nu”. We like the result a lot and we’ll be doing more work together in the future.

Audio Lounge did the music and sound design for the Spies……
Audio Lounge did the music and sound design for the Spies commercials, nominated at Zulu Awards. Again the 2 well known mobsters made it to the final as they have done world wide. In fact they have been awarded with a bronze Lion in Cannes, which means that these commercials are among the best 100 in the world, and the best travel TV commercial in the world in 2010. Congtatulations to Gobsmack, Nicolas Winding Refn……and us.

Ekstra Bladet…revealing the scandals.
It was a really great challenge to do something as quiet, cold and eerie as in the Ekstrabladet spot with the undertakers. And the one with the home guard was a laugh. A treat to work with director Nicolas Winding Refn on these ones. And yes, scandals doesn’t reveal themselves indeed…
Christopher Columbus and Sherlock Holmes takes great advice from PWC!!???
With director Joachim Back and Gobsmack Productions for Robert/Boisen & Like MInded, we did the sound design for these great spots for PWC. Well, yes indeed, what would happen in a meeting with clients like Christopher Columbus and Sherlock Holmes?? We had a lot of fun doing these ones and it was a challenge we were keen to take.
This is our new website and we’re very happy about it. It’s been underway for a long time and finally it’s launched. It has enabled us to provide a better service and easier overview. Jump around……jump around…..jump around…jump up, jump up…..and get down!!

Audio Lounge adds a new service…SOUND ON WHEELS.
We’ve added this service, as we have seen a need to involve sound in the actual editing process at an earlier stage.
Ahhh forgetta ’bout’it. The dynamic duo, Vinnie and Mario, is back. This hilarious couple of old timers with style and elegance. Once again starring Robert Boisen and Likeminded the as agency, Heinrich Vejlgaard (welcome home) and Ulrik Jessen as creatives, Nicolas Windig Refn the director and Christina Erritzøe as the producer. Heaps of fun he he ;)

Audio Lounge opens new facility in Hornbæk
Audio Lounge has opened a new facility in Hornbæk the 1st of december. We’re happy to be able to offer a studio in a more rural setting close to the ocean and the forest. Also this enables us to provide more or less 24 hour service.

The Royal Danish Theatre……”I had a peculiar dream last night….”
We’ve just done the sound design and mix for the new commercial for The Royal Danish Theatre. A treat to accompany the beautiful pictures by director Martin Werner, with some smooth soothing sound design…..lots of ambiences. Here we had the pleasure of mixing the music played by The Royal Danish Orchestra, the worlds oldest orchestra.
In the category Best Film, Audio Lounge did the sound for Scor.dk “Cupid”, “Royal Rock” and Rådet for Sikker Trafik “Husk Selen”, Best Internet Film “Pandora” and in the category Best Direction we did Scor.dk “Cupid”, “Royal Rock” and “Pandora”. We’re particularly proud to be nominated again this year, for best sound design for the work we did on “L.A.K.”. Congrats Malene Dyhring, Martin Werner, Kasper Wedendahl, Lasse Martinussen, Jeppe Rønde, Christian Zethner, Jonas Drehn, Jan Tvilling, Christina Erritzøe and Thor Jakobsen.

Coca Cola Zero Decaf for France
Here we go again in the mad world of making anything possible with Martin Werner and Grey Cph. It was good fun making the swat guy appear and icing the telephone…..
Yes, on this level it can become expensive business to have the kids doing prank calls. It was great fun to do all the different settings for this one. A wonderful idea from McCann Oslo, beautifully executed by Kasper Wedendahl and the Bacon team.
In this series of commercials derived at Co+Høeg, directed by Kasper Wedendahl and manipulated by the a-team at Bacon, headed by Jonas Drehn, we were challenged big time to make everything that happens seem…..natural. Far out!!!!! Lot’s of laughs.
In this poetic piece we did with director Lasse Martinussen, the job was to give an insight in what the world could look like in a teachers head. With challenging pictures it was a treat to get to sound design this and still make it happen in the head of a teacher. Great idea by the guys at Mensch. Extremely well done by Lasse and the team at Bacon.
We’re proud to have done the sound design and music edit for this one. Great idea by Robert/Boisen & Like MInded and superbly directed by Kasper Wedendahl. Congrats to all who paticipated.

In this absolutely beautiful commercial, there was great room for us, to make a lot of texture which we love. It was a treat to mix our sound work with the music of Lasse Martinussen. A trailer for a series of commercials? Well never the less this is what this is. The plot of the 2 former “cleaners” forms the perfect scene for an entertaining story. We loved doing this one for Gobsmack/Nicolas Winding Refn. Also we’re happy about how the music we made, turned out. Both for this trailer and also for the actual commercials. We had great laughs listening to the takes that weren’t used. Have a look/listen in the showreel section and check it out….
Kids in Africa get this disease and not a lot is done about it. This piece was made to raise awareness. Good on you!! Simon Ladefoged and Bacon Cph. made sure that this was beautifully shot, with the feel of urgency that this case needs. We have been keen to emphasize this with the sound design. Lovely piece.
We’re proud, that the spot just got taken in as contender at Shots. In the tv add for the new VW, there’s some crazy bmx moves. The pictures are beautifully composed and the moves are stunning. Here, aesthetics meets the street,in the most amazing way…….with a little twist in the end. All twisted by Jeppe Rønde and Bacon Cph.
Brooks Brothers launches new perfume “New York”…..and we do the sound design.
On the new spot “New York” we did for Jonas Arnby and Bacon Cph. we were asked to help making an impression of the new fragrance “New York”. In a twirling cocktail of amazing pictures, music and sound, we believe the film leaves a new and challenging impression.

For publishers Lindhardt & Ringhof Audio Lounge managed and finalized the audio book “Time Fly’s” written by one of the great authors of our time, Merete Pryds Helle. The story is intriguing and takes you on a wild journey…………buckle up!!

They’re from a Galaxy far far away, on a mission: Free dancing for everybody.
